A sunny day in October in the 1,000 Islands... the perfect day for Matt and Kristina's wedding!
I absolutely love the turn of the century/vintage look that Krissy went with as she themed her wedding. If you've ever been to the Harbor Hotel, you'll see that it lends itself very well to a turn of the century look!
From her vintage lace wedding dress, chapel length veil and gloves, her whole ensemble was beautiful!

And here is Matt!... all ready to see his bride!
Their First Look
After we had done our photos over at the docks near the Harbor Hotel, we took a walk through the Punkin Chunkin' Festival in downtown Clayton to the Johnston House! Krissy loved the staircase there and wanted to get some photos there!
Every time we've been up to Clayton in the 1000 Islands, I 'm always drawn to the beautiful atmosphere of the Johnston House, so I wanted to make sure we got a photo outside the house as well!
And the full bridal party including Matt and Krissy's son! He was a wiggle worm so we let him run around but still got him in the photos!
Since it was gorgeous weather, they were able to hold their wedding ceremony out on the patio by the river.
One of the most fun things about getting married on The River is that from time to time, barges will come through! Their officiant pointed it out to the guests as it passed saying that Matt and Krissy had ordered it specially to come through during their ceremony!
After the ceremony, one of Krissy's bridesmaids who owns a boat, took me out on The River where we were able to get this awesome shot of the Bride and Groom in front of the Harbor Hotel!

As you'll soon see, the two of them love books!
The First Dance
Their centerpieces were all of their favorite books and a few items that represented those books!

Longest Married Couple at the Wedding
We were also able to get outside right as the sun was setting to get a few pictures on the river!
As we turned around to head back inside the hotel, we saw the moon!!! One of my favorite shots of their day!
