A Skaneateles Country Wedding | Jesse & Autumn - HHawkinsPhotography
Old Paper Background

I had the amazing privilege of being able to capture the wedding memories of Jesse & Autumn  just a few weeks ago.  Their wedding was held right on the farm where Jesse grew up.  What made this wedding so special to me is that Jesse and I are related  through my grandma so I was not only able to witness his and  Autumn's marriage but  I was  also able to see all the work that he  and his dad put into their property and family barn for their wedding day.

Jesse and his dad worked for months prior to the wedding to  rebuild their family barn from the ground on up.  I met with them about a week before the wedding and no surprise to me, Autumn and I found Jesse still hard at work on the barn.  When the day of the wedding arrived, everything was finished and looked spectacular!

Now if you're impressed by all the work that Jesse did on the barn, you should be equally as impressed with all the hard work and creativity that Autumn put into the little details and decorations of the wedding!  From adorable signs to lawn games, Autumn thought of it all.

The girls all got ready at Autumn's sister in law's home.  The ladies from Arabella Salon came right to their home to style everyone's hair.

I couldn't help but capture one of Autumn's sister's hamming it up for the camera.  How cute is she?!

Because Jesse loves to hunt, I was such a fan  of the guy's boutonnieres in shot gun shell casings.

We dodged the rain drops here and there long enough to capture smiles like these...

Again, so creatively pieced together, the ceremony site only added to the wedding's country and rustic feel.

Instead of including the tradition of the Unity Candle or Sand, Jesse made this puzzle heart with both his and Autumn's names, the names of both their parents and the once piece that holds them all together... God.

Maddie, Jesse's golden retreiver, was not about to miss the wedding of her friend.  There was literally no way this photo wasn't going to make it into this blog post.  I just love it

Autumn wanted to take a few minutes to run into downtown Skaneateles to say hi to all of her friends.  While there of course, we had to stop for a few photos.

Once we got back from Skaneateles, the reception was on!

The rain stopped for a few moments and we were able to get my favorite pictures of the whole wedding... night time wedding pictures!

A big thanks must go to the team made up of Autumn, Jesse,  Tom and Scott (a couple of groomsmen) and Andrew!  What fun we had making this shot!

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.!   May you live happily ever after!
