Welcome to Rina & Phil's wedding blog! A day filled with laughter, tears, and friends of the best kind.
Rina and her bridesmaids were all ready for photos when I arrived which made for lots of time to get some fun shots. We were so thankful that the house they got ready at had a porch with a roof... a good solution for staying dry and clean for photos when its raining out!
Sassy girls with lots of spunk! And keep your eye out for Anastasia, Rina's older daughter... she comes bearing arms... and lots of fun personality! I loved it!
Phil and his Groomsmen!
Looking at the excitement and anticipation on Rina's face reminds me of the Oldie song, "Goin' to the chapel and we're gonna get married"!
Anastasia the DJ... see I told you to keep an eye out for her fun personality! I can't recall if the soundtrack to this particular set of pictures was the Backstreet Boys or Fireball. They had me laughing!
Phil and Rina's wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church in Utica!
Once again can I say how much fun the bridesmaids and groomsmen were?!
One of the things I love about Turning Stone is their immaculate landscaping and architecture! Endless photo opportunities!
Right outside the Lodge at Turning Stone... such a sweet kiss.
Enter the King and Queen!... Mr. & Mrs. at last!
Black Tie Entertainment did a great job (as always!) kicking off the party with a few great songs! I loved that Rina and Phil got to greet their guests on the dance floor before they went into their First Dance.
One of the sweetest things that so moved me during the toasts is the story that I believe Mike, Phil's Best Man and brother shared. He told of Phil's dream to open his own Italian restaurant some day. When he met Rina, she believed in him and encouraged and supported him with all her heart that he now has fulfilled his dream! Next time you're in the mood for Italian food, make sure you check out Utica Pizza Company in North Syracuse! Gosh, now that I've jumped to their website and looked at their menu I think I'm going to have get Andrew to swing over there to get us dinner!
Mother Daughter Dance
Mother Son Dance
It would not be a complete Italian wedding if you didn't dance the Tarantella!
I'm so glad you took the detour to come check out Rina and Phil's wedding blog post from the Turning Stone! A sweeter couple there couldn't be and Andrew and I wish them the very best!
