After much anticipation... may I present Pete & Andrea's wedding blog post from the Arrowhead Lodge in Brewerton NY! Over the 4th of July weekend, we had beautiful weather with a great breeze to keep us all cool!
When I show up on the wedding day I love to be able to photograph all the "details" of the wedding from the wedding shoes, to the engagement ring and wedding bands to the bridal bouquet!
Andrea and Pete had the sweetest First Look. I find so often that the groom is more expressive during a First Look than when the bride is coming down the aisle because of the privacy of the moment. Pete's expressions are no exception.
One of the unique things at Andrea & Pete's wedding is that they got married at the top of a small knoll so that when Andrea came down the aisle with her dad, Pete walked down the knoll to meet her and shake her dad's hand.
One of the really fun things that Andrea did with her theme and decorations was mesh a "woodsy" and a "nautical" theme very well. With the backdrop of the trees, she also made a garland of shells and starfish to drape their arbor with. You'll see more of those nautical details at the top of this blog as well as further down!
Keeping her nautical theme in mind, I made sure that we got a few shots up on Oneida Lake!
Yes... Pete's expressions and reactions all day were priceless.
I was so glad that they had bubbles with which we could have fun with at the end of the day! With a bit of fun creativity and help from the bridal party and friends we made sure to get these last few shots of the night!
