I have to tell you... not one little detail was missed in the planning of this wedding! Mike, Loren and their families thought of everything that could possibly make this wedding spectacular. Their nautical theme was clear as it ran through every single part of their day! Check it their invitations!
I love this shot of Loren's mom and sister helping her get dressed
Even the colors Loren chose were perfect for her nautical theme
Loren's family has spent many summers and made many precious memories up here in the 1000 Islands in Clayton NY. Its no wonder that she wanted to add wedding memories to those she has here at the River.
I just couldn't leave this photo out! With Andrew being my "Photo Ninja" and making sure he has the best angle to frame his shots, Loren's dad and sister couldn't help but pick on him! There's no way I wasn't going to snap that shot!
Mike and his Groomsmen, thankful for the shade of the Clayton pavilion. It was HOT that day!
Loren and Mike held their wedding ceremony on the patio of the Clayton Harbor Hotel which was a perfect spot over looking the river!
One of my own first memories of the town of Clayton NY is their row of colorful Adirondack chairs. I knew we had to do a bridal party shot here!
Loren and Mike even had an Aston Martin brought in for their wedding pictures!
I couldn't help but compile a collage of all the amazing details they put together for their reception! From the antique boats on the head table, the "No Wake Zone" signs to put on their hotel room handles, the post cards of Boldt Castle, the Clayton Specialty Cheese Curds during cocktail hour, and the pirate themed table for the kids!
This wedding was so fun for me because if you can't tell by all my "geeking out" now that I am in love with everything nautical and beachy! Ask Andrew and he'll tell you about how I designed every nook and crannie of our little cape cod like a beach house... even though we live in upstate NY!
And probably the most amazing lighthouse wedding cake I've ever seen designed by Sweets Lorraine. Andrew and I have done 4 weddings in the 1000 Islands this summer and 3 of the 4 had their cakes done by Lorraine and each of them have wowed me. And that's saying a lot for someone who sees a different wedding cake every weekend.
One thing about the 1000 Islands and Clayton is the AMAZING sunsets over the river! As the sun sets, the hotel becomes all lit up.
Congratulations to both of you as you begin your married lives together!
