I love being able to share blog posts that are so seasonally relevant! Welcome to Eric & Meghan's lakeside engagement session! Eric has family who owns beautiful lakefront property on Oneida Lake in Central New York, and that is where we decided to shoot their pictures!
In fact, before the session started, I was afraid that we may not have much room or a good variety of backgrounds on the property in which to shoot, so I had a second location close by in mind to use if we needed it. But boy was I wrong! The lake frontage was so beautiful and as you can see, we had lots of fun with the variety of backdrops here!
Being a couple that loves the water, there's no better way to relax than to kick off your shoes, soak your feet in the water and enjoy the sunset!
One of the coolest things that Eric & Meghan requested we incorporate into their Engagement Session is an Adirondack canoe, handmade by Eric's father! He painstakingly crafted the canoe with a variety of woods, giving it a multi -toned look! Definitely one of my favorite parts of this session!
We even got a sneak peak at the second Adirondack craft, a Guide Boat that his father is still in the process of making!
There is something about being on a lake that Eric & Meghan love. They will be tying the knot on Skaneateles Lake next year at the Sherwood Inn, my hometown!
Meghan & Eric, I had so much fun with you both on this gorgeous evening beside the lake capturing your love for one another. I truly am looking forward to your wedding day next year!!!
