Welcome to Mark and DeAnn's wedding blog from their Singer Castle Wedding in the 1000 Islands this summer!
If you've ever been to Dark Island or Singer Castle, you know that you'll have to get there by boat! All the girls came over on a private boat. The Flower Girl even got to drive the boat!
Our first glimpse of Singer Castle on Dark Island!
DeAnn departing the boat with her wedding dress safely in hand.
Getting ready with the Flower Girl... just outside the little bridal cottage!
Singer Castle provided such stunning backdrops for DeAnn's bridal portraits! I thought it was amazing!
While Mark, the Groom, his Groomsmen and the guests came over on the Uncle Sam Boat Tours boat, The Liberty.
Their wedding ceremony was held in the flower garden on the lawn over looking the 1000 Islands and St. Lawrence River. It was absolutely stunning and the day was clear and bright so you could see for a long ways.
After the wedding ceremony, the guests went on a tour of Singer Castle while we got to roam around the grounds taking pictures. Whether we were outside...
Or inside the castle... there were so many good photo spots!
I was pretty excited to be able to get a few photos of them in the ball room through the windows while I stood on the lawn outside!
Then we headed to the wedding reception right on an Uncle Sam Boat Tour boat!
The First Dance
The wedding reception was literally a cruise through the 1000 Islands as we ate, drank and danced!
On our way back into dock in Alex Bay, we passed Boldt Castle and Heart Island.
Mark couldn't help but close out his voyage and wedding reception with one last kiss as we came into dock in Alex Bay.
