Welcome to Julia's Senior Portrait Session blog! Julia will be a Senior at Skaneateles High School this fall .
I so enjoy getting to know my seniors as we plan for their session. When I asked her how she'd like to spend any given Saturday she told me, "Ideally, I would go for a run with my friends on a trail that I haven't been to before and then hang out afterwards to go swimming or hiking." Knowing she loved nature and being outdoors, we picked a wide open country field just outside of town for part of her session.
Julia wanted her photos to remind her of the good times she had growing up on the lake and also knowing that she loves to swim, brought us to the decision to shoot right on Skaneateles Lake itself.
I loved the more casual outfit that she brought to show off her fun, carefree self!
During her session, I also enjoyed hearing about how much she loves to run and the running camp that she attends every summer in the Adirondacks.
At the end of the evening, we had such a gorgeous sunset that I couldn't let it pass without snapping a few more photos. Though this marked the end of Julia's Senior Pictures Session, its only the beginning of a brand new chapter of her life. I wish her the best of luck in her final year of high school and on into the future!
