A Turning Stone Wedding | Mike & Monica - HHawkinsPhotography
Old Paper Background

Mike & Monica met as kids, living only streets away from each other.  Apparently Monica's sister thought that she would try to "hook them up" but had no idea that Monica already had a crush on Mike.  As the story goes, Monica would disappear from her house for hours at a time until one day her dad drove around the neighborhood looking for her.  There she was, walking the dog with Mike.  The rest is... well this IS a wedding blog!... the rest is sweet history.

The Wedding Dress

Monica, her bridesmaids and mom got ready at the impressive Paparazzi Day Spa in Liverpool, NY that's owned by the bride's dad!  And the bride's hair was done by Cyndi!

The girl's gorgeous makeup was done by Riki Lebied who owns Syracuse Makeup Artistry!

The Bride & her sister the Maid of Honor

The Wedding Rings

Monica's mom Maria helped so much with the planning of the wedding since Monica and Mike live in North Carolina.  She was so organized... it made our job easy!

Monica's perfect dress was from New York Bride

These beautiful flowers were arranged by Annie's Lavender and Lace out of Phoenix, NY!

And Monica herself... just absolutely the sweetest!

And here is Mike, the groom! Mr. GQ himself!

He rocks the serious look...

but also has that contagious smile!

The Groomsmen

Monica and Mike were married at St. John the Baptist Church in Syracuse, NY

The Kiss at the Altar

Once we left the church in Syracuse, NY we headed out to Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona for their reception and of course, wedding pictures!

The Bridesmaids

Thankfully it really didn't rain while we were doing pictures... such a blessing!

Their wedding reception was held at the Shenendoah Club House at Turning Stone but the landscaping around the whole property is gorgeous!

The new Mr. & Mrs.!

The First Dance

The Wedding Cake

And of course, it was a good Italian wedding because they had home made cookies!

Father Daughter and Mother Son Dance

At the very end of the night we made sure to get outside for a few night time wedding pictures!

Thank you so much for looking through Mike and Monica's wedding blog post!  It was truly a pleasure to spend the day with the two of you and your families and capture the day for you!  Andrew and I wish you the very best!
