The View at Sunset Pines Wedding | Chris & Kelsey

Bride and groom stand in front of a sunset at The View at Sunset Pines in Tully NY

When I first met with Chris and Kelsey to chat with them about their wedding at The View at Sunset Pines, I actually met them right at the venue!  Chris’ family owns The View and as we sat talking, he pointed out the window and said, “see that building over there?  That’s the event center I’m building”. “You’re building that?!” I asked.  He sure was!  In fact, Chris has even built for Beak and Skiff!  When the event center was finished and I was able to see it, let me tell you, I was impressed!

Bride Getting Ready

I just loved Kelsey’s dress by designer Maggie Sottero.  Not only did it fit her like a glove but the lace work on it was stunning!  She told me that the train was customized just for her so that the lace was even more prominent!

Here are a handful of the bride’s details… their wedding rings, her boots, earrings, and bracelets!

And Kelsey’s bridesmaids were SO much fun.  In fact, we definitely were serenaded by her one bridesmaid, MacKenzie while we were doing bridal portraits!

Kelsey looked absolutely gorgeous, didn’t she?!

Her fingertip length veil was also beautiful.  It was pretty breezy on their wedding day and I loved how the veil floated in the wind!

The bridesmaid’s dresses were designed by Azazie!

Kelsey’s first look with her dad was just so sweet.

The Groom Getting Ready

I am just loving these detail shots that Andrew has been getting!

Here is Chris!, the man of the hour.

If you know Chris at all, you know how much he loves to have a good time.  The photo on the bottom right is a great example of his personality… comfortable being a goof and I loved it!

Here are the guys and one of the ring bearers!  The fist bump seemed to be a theme of the day… I can’t count how many of those I got!

I also loved that Chris’ cuff link said “Always by your side”.  So sweet.

The Wedding Ceremony on Sunset Pines Executive Golf Course

Chris and Kelsey’s ceremony was held out on the Sunset Pines Executive Golf Course right in front of the pond.  It had a perfect backdrop of autumn trees and great lighting for the ceremony!  The white birch arbor they got married under was pretty epic!

Another adorable element of Chris and Kelsey’s wedding were the two ring bearers and the two flower girls.  They did SO well all day long!

This might be one of my favorite photos from the day!

Lots of joy, tears and excitement in this wedding ceremony!

This epic “kiss at the altar” photo was captured by Andrew!

Wedding Portraits

Just being a great little guy, running off his energy while he waited for his turn in the photos.

Ah, aren’t these two adorable?  I LOVE how expressive they both are!  And can you handle that gorgeous orange and red tree in the background?!

Chris certainly knows how to make Kelsey laugh!

The autumn colors, the flying of Kelsey’s veil and the smiles on both of their faces makes my romantic heart just go wild!

I’d say they make a perfect pair!

Wedding Reception at the View at Sunset Pines

While you can’t see the back of Chris’ arm, it was so cool to learn that Kelsey and Chris have matching tatoos on their arms.

The speeches were full of jokes, jabs, tears and laughter.  An epic combination for great expressions.

Here is their white birch cake and cupcakes!  You know how much I love my sweets.  I wanted to try every single flavor of cupcake (don’t worry, I did not!  LOL!)

The View at Sunset Pines is very aptly named because the sunsets are notoriously amazing, especially for wedding pictures!  This was one thing that Kelsey and Chris particularly requested.  I prayed that we’d have a sunset to capture… and we did!  What better way to end their blog than with a sunset picture?  I hope you enjoyed relieving their wedding day through this blog!  If you’d like to see more of my wedding work, check it out on the blog here!  If you have any questions, I’d love to hear from you!
